This reception area for Mars Athletic Clubs and a retail space for the gym's branded merchandise--from socks and t-shirts to towels--were designed using the brand's logo, a play on the EKG readout, as a visual motif. The EKG was turned into a 3D kinetic element inside glass display counters by using actual gears and chains to create a dynamic mechanical flow from the far side of the shop toward the reception and gym entrance.
